Our Club

Our Vision
The Rotary Club of Erin connects and energizes our community by building lasting, positive relationships, fostering goodwill and helping those in need.
Our History
Chartered by Rotary International in January 1998, the Rotary Club of Erin began with a group of community-minded individuals who believed in the power of working together to make a difference—locally and globally.
Inspired by Rotary’s motto, Service Above Self, our members are dedicated to serving with purpose and building a stronger, more connected community.
Our motto, We Energize Erin!, reflects that spirit. Through hands-on service, fundraising, and community leadership, we work to make Erin a better place for everyone who lives in and loves it.
Over the years, our impact has been felt in many ways—from renovating the Centre 2000 Seniors’ Centre to leading tree planting, trail building, and road cleanup initiatives, as well as hosting events that bring people together.
We’re proud to be part of Rotary’s global network, supporting international efforts like the campaign to end polio and projects that advance literacy, clean water, and sanitation around the world.
Our Guiding Principles
Community & Service
Our work is rooted in supporting the whole community, with special care for those who need it most. At the heart of everything we do is Rotary’s motto: Service Above Self.
Diversity & Inclusion
We value diversity and strive to reflect the many voices and experiences within our community. Everyone is welcome, respected, and appreciated for what they bring.
Care for the Environment
We’re committed to protecting the place we call home and consider environmental impact in all our activities and decisions.
Integrity
We hold ourselves to Rotary’s Four-Way Test:
• Is it the truth?
• Is it fair to all concerned?
• Will it build goodwill and better friendships?
• Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
