Community Impact

Making a Lasting Impact

Over the years, Erin Rotary has helped shape our community in meaningful and visible ways. Guided by our three pillars—Community, Youth, and International Service—we’ve invested over $90,000 in just the past six years to support local and global needs.

Some of our proudest contributions include the Rotary Trail, the Rotary River Trail, and the Picnic Shelter in Victoria Park. These projects have added to the beauty of our town and created welcoming spaces for everyone to gather and connect.

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, we stepped up to help. We supported the local Food Bank, helped the Erin Medical Clinic purchase a vaccine fridge, and continued to care for our senior community with Christmas hampers and transportation assistance.

Supporting youth is a big part of what we do. We’ve:

  • Outfitted the Grove Youth Centre

  • Provided leadership opportunities through the Rotary Leadership Academy

  • Helped ensure kids start their day well-fed with the High School Breakfast Program

  • Awarded an annual Rotary Scholarship

  • Launched a youth mental health awareness program in partnership with the high school

Most recently, we introduced the Community Giving Program, offering local groups and organizations the chance to apply for funding to support their important work.

With over 25 years of service, we’re proud of how far we’ve come—and even more excited for what’s ahead. We’re here to keep growing, giving, and making a difference in Erin and beyond.
